Peripheral road

A Peripheral Ring Road of about 110 Kms. length is proposed around Bangalore at a redial distance between 2.80 to 11.50 Kms. from the existing Outer Ring Road. The project involves a land acquisition of about 2050 Acres and is expected to cost Rs. 550.00 crores. The proposed road is a 6-lane bi-directional divided carriageway having 3-lanes on each side. Scheme approval for the work needs to be accorded by Government and land acquisition process has to commence. TOP

Construction of Underpass at Magadi Road - Chord Road junction

Authority has approved the proposal of construction of an Underpass at Magadi Road - Chord Road junction at an estimated cost of Rs. 2250.00 lakhs vide resolution No. 136/03 dated 28.06.2003 along with construction of flyover and other places. Tenders for the work are being invited shortly. TOP

e-Pragati Kiosk

A multi purpose kiosks (e-Pragati), is ready for launch on pilot basis. This facility provides access to all information, complaint registration, complaint monitoring, checking of the status of complaints. In addition, it is also equipped to down load digitised maps, information updates, different forms and host of other material relating to the activities of BDA. This will enable Bangaloreans to access everything they need or require from BDA at their doorsteps, instead of them making it to the Authority all the way. This is among the most ambitious customer friendly initiative visualised by any Development Authority in the Country or in the maintained State.

Kiosks, e-Pragati will be the first its kind in Asia , which removes jealously iron, curtains and makes everything transparent. The new web site provided by BDA is another window, which has enabled public to glimpse in to the activities of Bangalore Development Authority and take benefit of it appropriately. TOP
